Allison
Our 8-month-old attended Pippi's daycare and absolutely loved his time there! He squealed with joy every morning when we dropped him off, jumping into the arm's of all of the caretakers. The staff at Pippi's are all so wonderful, caring and organized, sending daily reports of what he did each day -- eating, sleeping, learning. Lots of outdoor time and playing with other kids. We are sad to be moving away and will miss everyone at Pippi's!

At Pippi's Friends, we create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. Our dedicated staff prioritize each child's safety, well-being, and development. We offer a range of programs and activities designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Circle Time in English, Spanish, and Russian
At Pippi's Friends, we introduce children to multiple languages through daily Circle Time in English, Spanish, and Russian. Through songs, stories, and discussions, language learning becomes a natural and enjoyable part of their day.
Benefits of Early Language Exposure
Hearing different languages strengthens brain development, improves problem-solving skills, and enhances communication. Early exposure also fosters cultural awareness and adaptability.
Learning Through Songs & Engagement
Songs and interactive activities make language learning fun and memorable, reinforcing new words through rhythm and repetition.
Building Focus & Social Skills
Circle Time also teaches children to focus, take turns, and listen while balancing structured learning with active play.
Consistency & Repetition
Regular exposure to all three languages ensures children gain confidence and fluency in a supportive, engaging environment.
Art for Fine & Gross Motor Development
At Pippi's Friends, hands-on art activities like painting, cutting, and sculpting strengthen fine motor skills, improving coordination and dexterity. These creative projects also foster problem-solving and self-expression.
Building Essential Motor Skills
Fine motor tasks—like holding brushes, cutting, or molding playdough—enhance hand strength, concentration, and spatial awareness. Gross motor activities, such as running, climbing, and balancing, develop coordination, strength, and confidence.
Group Activities & Social Growth
Semi-structured and organized group activities teach teamwork, turn-taking, and shared responsibility, helping children build social and emotional skills while fostering a sense of belonging.
Movement Classes for Coordination & Flexibility
Dance, yoga, and guided exercises enhance balance, coordination, and flexibility while promoting an active lifestyle. These classes also help children follow directions and develop focus.
Creativity & Problem-Solving
Through art and movement, children learn to think critically, explore different solutions, and express their individuality—skills that support lifelong learning and growth.
Cooking: Learning Through Hands-On Experience
At Pippi's Friends, cooking builds fine motor skills, teamwork, and responsibility. Children practice stirring, pouring, and cutting while learning about meal preparation, portioning, and sharing.
Building Responsibility & Independence
Preparing their own snacks gives children a sense of ownership and accomplishment. Working together in the kitchen also teaches cooperation and patience.
Gardening: Connecting with Nature
Our upcoming gardening program will teach children how to care for plants through watering, planting, and tending. This hands-on experience fosters patience, responsibility, and appreciation for nature.
Developing Motor Skills
Cooking strengthens fine motor skills through cutting and mixing, while gardening builds gross motor skills through digging and watering, enhancing coordination and focus.
Lifelong Skills Through Practical Learning
By engaging in cooking and gardening, children develop essential life skills, responsibility, and teamwork—lessons that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
